Bio & Statement

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, where I spent 18 years of my life before moving to Las Vegas, NV in 2013. After earning my associate’s degree in fine arts, I moved on to study graphic design and media.

Currently, I am employed as a graphic designer at my school’s marketing department.

Most of my art is made of personal emotions that were materialized using artistic skills. I like to address any sorts of disturbing feelings and associations I have in order to capture their essence in visual allegories. What drives my interest is an almost obsessive desire to somehow grasp and visually document something that has neither a visual appearance nor a name. However, not all of my works deal with self-exploration. Sometimes they become artistic reflections on various aspects of the society, or are inspired by different forms of art, such as film and music.
